Psychosomatics
It happens that a person undergoes examinations, takes tests, consults with different specialists – and in all respects, he is healthy.
But at the same time they remain:
- pain in the body without a clear reason
- frequent colds, otitis, stomach or skin problems
- headaches, pressure surges, sleep or digestive dysfunction
- the feeling that the body “gives”, although there are no objective grounds
What can be behind this:
- emotional, psychological and mental processes directly affect the state of the body.
- prolonged stress, internal conflicts, depressed experiences can trigger physiological reactions that manifest as disease – although their root is not in the body, but deeper.
Today, more and more often doctors tell patients: “This is not a disease. Contact a psychotherapist.”
And this is an important signal – especially if drug treatment does not give a result.
How to work with this:
- normalize the psycho-emotional state
- reduce stress levels
- understand what internal processes affect well-being
- support the nervous system through psychotherapeutic work
- if necessary, adjust your lifestyle and load levels
Nerves are not only about pills.
Psychotherapy is a way to deeply influence the causes that can trigger bodily symptoms..
If you face frequent or unexpected health problems, psychotherapeutic support and psychosomatic counseling can become a key step towards recovery.
Privacy is guaranteed. All consultations are held in accordance with the ethical code of the psychologist.
